Ive recently joined Beatrix Bliss's site but im having trouble downloading the videos. They run on Divx which I have installed successfully (i think!), but each time I click on the link Windows media player 10 comes up and they of course dont play

. How i i make the DivX player my default player?

If your using Vista you can do the following, i'm pretty sure that its the exact same steps for XP.
1. Right click on a downloaded file
2. Choose "open with" from the menu and then click "choose default program"
3. Choose the new default program you want to open up the files with.
Or you could try opening the DivX player and somewhere in the options will be the choice of DivxPlayer becoming the default for said files.
However DivX would have installed Directshow filters, so that the file you downloaded should have played through windows media player anyway. The only exception being DRM DivX files.

It might help with general video and audio play if you install a codec pack - it certainly wouldn't do any harm. I use K-Lite and find it superb.
