I saw this on Thursday. He has a pad in central London, and another one just 37 miles away, and apparently can not commute as it involves leaving home at 5.30am, to get to work at 9.00am, and he wont get home till midnight even though the House of Commons doesn't have late sittings anymore. What I've just said is exactly what he said on Thursday night.

There are probably one million people who commute that distance to and from central London every day, and they will leave home at about 7.30am and be back home by 6.30-7.00pm. If they work a bit later sometimes they may be home at 8.00 or 9.00pm. What he said on Thursday about how long he would have to spend out of his house was a total lie. It takes 3 and a half hours to travel 37 miles does it? I think not.

Very few people in parliament have any conscience about public money and just fleece the public purse as much as they can. Most parliamentarians, and senior public officials, are 10 times as uncaring and 10 times as cynical, as Benefit fraudsters.

No point watching QT anymore, because the totally obvious questions are always asked - and all the specially selected guests, because nobody with real opinions is given the opportunity, give the stereotypical answers you'd expect them to. It's so stage managed it's time to call it a day. It's more like a weekly political broadcast, where a guest from each party spouts the tripe they're told to.

I think David Dimbleby is a terrible presenter, he is only there cos of who his father was (Richard Dimbleby, top TV pundit and political interviewer from years ago). QT is the only political deabte show, probably in the western world, where the presenter smirks all the time, tries to get a laugh every minute, says things to the politicans that are designed to make the audience giggle, and basically just acts like an idiot. He shouldn't be hosting the programme.
