Its yet another bandwagon she`s jumping on in an attempt to keep herself relevent by copying Angelina Jolie. Before that she seemed to be trying to rip of Kylie`s image and music. If her music videos weren`t wankfests for 14 year olds then granny tranny would have hit obscurity at the end of the eighties. Now its a desperate attempt to stay in the limelight by any means.

To be fair mrchapel, I think that Madonna did adopt her first Malawian child before Angelina Jolie did.

But regardless of who was first, I do agree that it's nothing more than posturing, statement-making, headline-grabbing and relevance-seeking.

Basically, it's just using children as fashion accessories, just like so many celebs seem to use kids as, what with the designer labels that they dress them in and the ridiculous names that they give them.

If you google or wiki you`ll find Angelina was adopting African babies long before Madonna. Fuck she adopted her first kid whilst shooting the first tomb raider movie in Cambodia.
