Advice Please
Advice Please
I've just bought a wireless router - still in box,not been sync'd - can I use this wireless router on a new laptop with different broadband suppliers.if I choose to move from say BT to Virgin? I could get the router sync'd in the pc shop , but would I need to keep the broadband supplier I am with now all the time with this router. If you begin to answer this question, then you're already cleverer than me, thanks
Re: Advice Please
Since the router was not supplied by any specific ISP, and therefore not locked in some way, you should be able to reconfigure it as often as you want.
Assuming the router is for a telephone line connection, as an example, if you are now with BT you should be able to reconfigure it for Sky.
However the router would not work with Virgin as it will not be compatible with a cable connection.

Thanks guys.Particularly for the virgin advice.
Re: Advice Please
Get one of the new BT Face Plates. You don't need a filter then and they cut out any electrical interference, thus making your broadband more stable.
