One of the merits of a healthy mature democracy is the toleration of obnoxious, facile, offensive, nasty opinions, (though not actions). Sadly the last 12 years of New Labour have made us afraid of our shadows. Expose these people to ridicule, debate, derision, anything to belittle them. That said, I would draw the line at letting the Russian neo-nazis with criminal convictions in.

Talking to the IRA did eventually sort of result in the cessation of a lot of the violence. A rabid right wing loon is hardly in the same league.
