Greedy MPs
MPs are grossly over paid as it is and "absolute power corrupts absolutely" as a famous philosopher observed.
Labour Party claims to be the party of the working class but are solidly middle-class who are up to every trick in the book to line their own pockets.
The police should look into the corruption at Westminster the stench is unbearable to the British public. Top coppers should get the same wages as MPs to help them investigate these reprobates.

Re: Greedy MPs
All MPs who have fiddled should be prosecuted after all they are so keen to prosecute ordinary people for fiddling the system so why should they be above the law, Jack Straw said it was ok for him to claim back to much council tax as he has since paid the overpayment back but other people who claim benefits which they are not entitled to are prosecuted and also have to pay the money back !rant!

Re: Greedy MPs
Well the simple truth is that we all do it or have done in the past I suppose but for the people who are supposed to be representing us it is pretty disgusting. How on earth can anyone vote for any of these wankers now ??

Re: Greedy MPs
but wait......
Greedy certainly but don't worry that they aren't thinking about the poor, working class in this country, oh no! there are plans afoot to increase the minimum wage by an eyewatering 5p per hour.
It really puts the proposed ?150 'attendance' fee for MP's into perspective doesn't it.

Were he not so out of touch with the mood of the electorate, Brown would reverse the decision to start a police investigation into the leak to the Telegraph and tell MPs like Woolas that they should just put up with the revelations rather than consult me learn'd friend.
