I don't think it's the definition that's important, Reggie. It's that there's a derogatory term at all, which describes women who get paid to have sex.

Only men who think such women are immoral/bad who use this term seriously. Our man swampy seems to be one of those men and using it on a porn forum where, I'm sure, most posters would welcome a greater presence of porn actresses, it seems a little thoughtless and rude.
