Phil Spector - Edward Scissorhands?

Post by Deano! »

Looking at the latest pictures on the news of Spector's various court appearances had me trying to think who he reminded me of. Suddenly I knew it was the 80's movie character Edward Scissorhands. He also looks slightly like Roddy McDowel in full make up in Planet of the Apes - those lips.

His missus is a "bit of 'orrr right' too.

19 years in the nick. I expect he will die in jail. What a contrast: years of living in huge mansions and having tons of cash, to an 8' by 8' cell in the blazing heat of some remote part of California, with 18 stone thugs beating him up each day. There was always something dangerous about Spector, he was known for keeping guns in the studio. John Lennon commented on how he would be twirling handguns around on his fingers in the control booth while he (Lennon) was recording on the other side of the glass. Lennon said it was scary.

I would bet he spends his time in a cozy open prison, a bit like a B&B.

His missus, a good looking blonde, was on Sky News this morning saying what a lovely bloke he was. He wouldn't hurt a fly!

Suppose she's just going to mis the gravey train.
