Rupert Murdoch told Tony Blair just before the 1997 general election that The Sun newspaper (owned by Murdoch) would back Blair so long as Blair agreed to certain things. Murdoch is an animal - he demanded all these things for our country, yet he is not from here, has never lived here, pays no tax here and cant vote here. One of the things Murdoch demanded was that we didn't join the Euro. Blair agreed in order to get Murdoch's backing, and that is one of the main reasons we never joined the Euro.

Be ready to be shocked. I work with 2 local Labour councillors and they are genuinely worried they will lose their seats to BNP, who to be brutally honest have done far more electioneering locally than all the other parties combined. They are now a rather worrying force to be reckoned with and will prosper the longer this recession goes on.

With the amount of BNP posts you've whacked out on your keyboard this past month or two, I'd say you're listening to the wrong radio station.

Which government relaxed the laws surrounding the sale and distribution of porn in 2000; the relaxed laws that would have no doubt made it possible -or at least easier- for sites like this and be-seen-here.co.uk to exist?

Was it the BNP? Jog my memory will you?

No, hold on, it was the Tories, I remember now!

The law was changed because otherwise they would have fallen fowl of European Human Rights. So they decided to allow just the minimum to stop the floodgates opening and allowing in non-rated porn from the continent on a commercial basis. As it is they've got a modicum of control, although anyone wanting non certificated stuff doesn't have to look far. Personally I wouldn't touch a UK rated movie.
