The first rule when flying is to never step into an aircraft made in France - that's any Airbus. They're about as reliable as a Citroen There are lots of sites that say they're inherently unsafe because of the fly-by-wire technology they use - if the computer says the plane needs to dive bomb, that's what it'll do, regardless of whether the pilot tries to override it.
