Im quite familiar with Mr Bloodvessel he used to shop in Sainsburys in Stamford Hill and when i was working in a cab office I used to send cabs to his house quite a few times.
Personally i think Madness is way better band than Bad Manners for their output and longevity and quality of their songs even if they dont come across as very Ska these days or the last 20 years.
I quite like the old school 60's ska like Long Shot Kick De Bucket, Toots and The Maytals then later on The Specials who were far superior to Bad Manners (no offence) just my opinion...I quite liked The Beat as well.
