This isn't the Michael Foot era again since the is 'New Labour'; basically soft Thatcherism. We are faced with two parties with indistinguishable agendas, unlike 30 years ago. Cameron has all the spin and personality that Blair had but fortunately he has that tosser Osborne by his side which hopefully means they won't get a majority at the next election. Our only hope is a hung parliament and Clegg pushing for electoral reform. Then we'll all get the representation we want. I don't care about MPs representing me locally; I've got councillors to do that.
The Michael Foot era all over again?

Vosmith. You mention Osbourne. He will be Prime Minister in about 15 years time. No one will want him, no member of the public will vote for HIM as such, just vote against the opposition as they will be very much out of favour by then - so the Tories will get in by default. Osbourne, who will then be party leader, wont be in pole position to become PM because he is any good, he will be there because his well connected family (who are all ex-ministers and Lords people from years ago) arranged it. Just like they arranged for him to move up within the party after he joined it and for him to become the high flyer he is today. Many within the Tory party who dont even like him will get behind him to become leader because it will help them advance their miserable careers aswell. So Osbourne will become PM (I can guarentee this happening in about 15 years time) even though no one in the country wanted him to be, and only a handful of people within his party probably wanted him (as an individual) to be either. Politics is awful.

It exists so that Osbourne can be told to fuck off. If you've any sense you'll tell that twat and bum buddy of his to fuck off before he is elected as well !rant!
