just wondering who buys this shit.

Probably the same muppets who are buying his cd's out of some misconcieved loyalty - despite either owning them already (given they're the biggest selling albums of the last 30 years) or not being into Jacko in the first place.
I keep reading imbeciles saying they'll "miss him". Miss what exactly? He hasn't made a record for 8 years (and not a decent one in 20!) nor does he fill the tv schedules with his interviews.... how can one miss an unrelated recluse?????????????

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

I guess the imbeciles that will miss him are his friends and family for starters. His cleaner, caretaker, tailor...people who were still employed by him.

Imbeciles one and all.

People missed Elvis and he died on the toilet I heard.

No - by imbeciles I meant imbeciles - people who have never met the man and were never likely to! It's all over Faecebook & Twatter, banal drones all trotting out cliches, how they'll miss the man who released 3 pretty great albums over 20 years ago and 3 more not-so-great albums in the ensuing 20 years. I imagine very few of them own a copy of Invincible. They could and should have been mourning Michael Jackson the Musician for 15 years at least, as he was never ever going to be that good again, content to make himself some white tragic Disney character instead of creating magic music.

Yes, Off The Wall & Thriller - iconic imagary & top-drawer music. But that was a lifetime ago... I know music lives forever, but as far as music goes we might as well mourn (and "miss") Marvin Gaye

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

That's a really negative way to look at people's upset. I will miss him, and of course never met him, but to know that someone who produced so much wonderful work - the "best albums" are only a small amount of his legacy. I miss the fact we will never know if he still had it in him to do something great again, maybe embrace being an older artist - maybe losing all his money would have returned his hunger etc... I also will 'miss' the fact one of the most talented human beings has died, imagine if the world was full of people who operated at that level of ability within their own disciplines and occupations.....just a thought.

Th most tragic thing of all to me is,, a glittering career, on top of the world and this is how he goes out?! Bald, emaciated and without any dignity. Thats what shocked and saddened me.

I dont think that is the fitting end to someone labelled the king of pop at all.
