I heard today that after more than 40 years the Police have stopped looking for the body of Keith Bennet, one of the little kids killed and buried by the monster that is Ian Brady and his lunatic late partner Myra Hindley, on Saddleworth Moor near Manchester. What those two did in the 1960's (kidnapping, killing, and burying 5 or 6 kids) was so savage that it was described as the day innocence ended - and Britain has never been quite the same since.
Myra Hindley died a few years ago and is now rotting for eternity in hell; Brady is still alive and has been trying to kill himself for years. They force feed him through a tube as he has been on hunger strike for so long. He even asked a Judge to look at whether force-feeding him was contravening his human rights as he wanted to die and they wouldn't let him. Brady has been a nutcase since day one. He enjoyed torturing animals as a kid and was obsessed with Nazi-ism. I felt very sorry for the old girl, the mother of Keith Bennet, when she was interviewed on the TV today. She was very upset and she is sure that Brady knows where her son's body is but he is refusing to co-operate.
Should Brady be forced to tell the Police where the body is, and be punished in a way that would REALLY trouble him if he doesnt tell? Should Brady just be allowed to die, and then the taxpaper's will save what is thought to be ?100,000 which is the cost of keepng him in jail (per year)? Should the death penalty be brought back? (Apparently the death penalty was abolished one month AFTER Brady and Hindley were arrested and charged for their evil crimes but because they weren't convicted of them for another few months - they were held on remand for the few months' interim - it was too late to put them both to the rope when they were convicted. Otherwise they would both have been hanged in the 1960's - saving the country MILLIONS of pounds since!).

Brady is now in his 70's and is in bad health. He will hopefully die quite soon, I just hope it is after he has revealed the location of where that kid is buried.

Keep Ian Brady alive. He is living in a mental hell for guilt for his crimes. At least I'd like to think so. His victims died 40 years ago. Ian Brady should be reminded of his crimes every single day until he breathes his last breath.
Now that is better than any swift execution and he doesnt have to taint any one elses life with having to take his.
I hope the judge chucked in a "fuck you" before he threw away the key. Those parents have never found peace because of what them two have done.
Force feed the fucker I say!

He's a psychopath, he killed the children because he enjoyed it. To him, their lives were worth less than the pleasure he got by killing them. He's never had a second's guilt, and the only person he feels sorry for is himself.

All the things I wrote about Brady in my original post here I knew from memory, from having seen things on TV and read things over the years. However I just read up on him a bit more online. Apparently he costs the taxpayer HALF A MILLION a year to keep in the loony bin that he is in (including the costs of the Doctors and so on) and he has cost the taxpayer over ?1m in Legal Aid during his time inside. Kill the bastard. Save loads of cash. Simple.

Your thread is incorrectly titled, because the case hasn't been closed. The police were very careful to say that although the search for the body has been called off, that does not mean that they are closing the case.
