Umpire killed by flying cricket ball...

An umpire was today killed in Cardiff by a cricket ball that a fielder was throwing back towards the wicket. It hit the umpire on the head, this guy was 72 years old, and he was dead. That is pretty freaky! The batsmen have protection, so does the wicketkeeper. Is it time to give headgear to the umpire aswell? Should cricket be bracketed in 'the league of dangerous sports...'?

It was Swansea, and im not sure about Umpires protection, I think its just a freak accident!
