Fuck no wonder Network Rail have hit the fucking buffers JJ. You probably ordered a couple of steam trains for them while you were at it!!

They are by all acounts fucking pish (these coolers not the trains) and too much work filling them up with ice and water and turps - then emptying the pish that spills out ... if I wanted to actually do something while being royally barbecued I would open the fucking windows.

But thanks anyway ....

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Therein lies the problem Croftey - as soon as you mentioned that dreaded word 'Ebay' that's when it all started going rotten.

We have 15000btu units from B&Q for the offices at work but size of the offices is greater than the recommended room size for the unit and the biggest office at least really needs two.

Provided they go on when we start they cool temperature that built up overnight and keep temperature more bearable as sun beats down on roof and in afternoon through windows but they certainly don't get temperature down to the set 22 degrees.

No, that was becaue they appointed an ex-biscuit salesman as
chairman.

I did try, but it got bounced. My point that steam trains in the 30s
did most journeys 20% quicker than today was loftily ignored : -)

You can [and I do] run them dry- to be honest it IS a lot of 'pish'
with the water/ice, and the benefit is marginal. Plus, running dry
cuts the fuel-consumption.
