Yes, should have appointed a parsimonious Scotsman and he'd have trawled the secondhand shops and auction rooms for cheap furniture and put energy efficient lightbulbs in the chandeliers because they're tight .. it's in their genes right ?
Or maybe they should have appointed Portillo. He's part Spanish and he could have done a mediterranean makeover and retreated to his pad for siestas, overslept, and then we could have complained that he's lazy but then again he can't help it (all together now) it's in his genes !
