"This isn't about context so your argument is invalid".

Oh, OK then I'll shut up.

It's still only you, Tony Scott (who has an agenda) and a guy who hasn't seen the original who still think it's not a remake by the way.

Well as I said it's not about numbers.

If you, the guy who hasn't seen the original and Tony Scott (who doesn't want his film compared with a much better original) want to think that you are correct and everyone else is wrong, that's OK with me.

You're a sucker for the marketing. 'New', 'fresh' - what utter nonsense ! It has the appearance of a stale re-heat !

I'll take everything you throw at me. fair enough. I just liked it and i was entertained and thats all I ask from a movie these days.

The fact this has racked up some 60 plus posts indicates it is becoming a game of one upmanship.

Soory if I offended anyone by actually liking the movie but I stand by what i said.

Fer chrissakes its only a movie. hardly going to change the world overnight is it?

Given that many of you raved so highly about the original I've got that on my list of movies to watch as well

(Tcha bombaclart!)
