You're not wrong mate, in that era the girls looked sophisticated and had personality and charm - not like the production line porn models of today. I've always liked the girls in the films of the 70's - so fresh faced and innocent. Well maybe not so innocent after all...

Probably just the era you became interested in porn. For me most of the '70s and '80s girls look like they have bad make-up, bad hair and awful wardrobes. Most of the girls I like emerged around 2002-2006, which were the years I started taking an interest. Kelly Marie, Michelle B, Vicky Powell, Hannah Harper, Roxy Jezel (best of the Brits).....that era who are now hitting their late 20s.
The girls of the noughties seem to enjoy what they're doing more. The 70s and 80s girls DID look more innocent, but also more uncomfortable with what they were doing (i'm sure not all, just generalising a little from my personal experience). For me innocence is a turn off. I like confidence in a performance.
I'm sure that in 20 years time I'll be thinking the same thing regarding the latest crop of girls and reminiscing over the millennium bunch.

Ginger Lynn from the 1980's, there was something very REAL about her films. Nothing was put on or acted, it was all her real expressions and moans as she thoroughly enjoyed the sex.

You make a good point there Sam, I was a teenager of the 70's, so all that period styling such as hairy muffs and heavy makeup looks natural to me. By 1974 I was starting to take an interest in erotica, tho access to hardcore was extremely limited until the advent of the VCR in the 80's.

The beauty of today is retro isnt that hard to find like it was 5/10 years ago
I think looking back through rose coloured glasses the main appeal,as has been said many times before about yesteryear is it wasnt available everywhere as it is now so expectation was given time to build
