A non sequitur, surely?
Will we ever fully recover from Margaret Thatcher?

Sarah has a good point about JS- we'll never know; I suppose he
inherited the title of 'best PM we never had' from RAB Butler.
Maybe, like, Hendrix, he died at the peak of his popularity; had he
become PM he might well have ended up as despised as every
subsequent occupant of No. 10.

Not evil. Just cynical; but her actions caused evil to happen.
God rot her bones.
A definite candidate for the eighth circle of Dante's Inferno.

Not forgetting all the other lies we know he told, but wasn't punished for.

Why not?
How else will things change?

Re: Will we ever fully recover from Margaret Thatcher?
I have lived through a few recessions they come around on cycle !wink! but the Thatcher manipulated one of 1979 onwards was one of the worst this country had known for years, i do remember hearing on the news at the time about a young mother throwing her two young children out of a tower block window and then jumping behind them because their benefits had been drastically cut, this of course will most likely happen again with the benefit culture the present goverment has built up and the debt the country is now in, it cannot go on forever.

Well said.
There are still victims out there of T's idiocy who have no voices.
