Why are Arsenal appealing?

Does anyone actually know the answer to this question? Such a blatant dive by Eduardo and then Eboue dives against Man U just a few days later, which was not the most sensible thing to do. Dont get me wrong I like Arsenal and the stylish way they play football but if Arsenal carry on like this surely there reputation for the good football they play will plumet!

However, he has a perfectly valid point. Diving happens all the time and there's plenty of video evidence for it. Why just pick on Eduardo?

It was never a dive, more an aerial miscalculation in flight. He obviously did not expect such a cross wind created by the keeper which swept his legs from under him.

Arsenal aren't at all appealing. They are a load of whingers based in North London led by a French super whinger, second only to the one at Anfield - but only just. !grin!

This I am afraid is the double standards of ALL football people - it seems that anything that happens bad against them then they saw it clearly (what a disgrace) let's get some action on this individual/club, BUT the exact same incident happens involving one of their players and they NEVER SAW IT so cannot comment. So until a bit more honesty comes in from the managers (and owners and directors) and they take their blinkers off then this problem will just get worse.

Of course the real good bit about this is that Celtics Aiden McGeady was given a 2nd yellow card and ordered off in Celtic's very next game ... for simulation aka diving.

Why do we now call it 'simulation', or 'diving'?
The correct word is cheating.

The offence is already covered under the Rules; 'ungentlemanly conduct',
for which a player may be dismissed.
All that's needed is for the rule to be enforced, consistently. The players
will soon get the message.
