Websites that never move...

Can anyone explain the philosophy behind running a website..that never moves.
Let me explain:the Webmaster is alive and well (and living in his/her bedroom),yet his website (forget tits & bums) is 'newsy' perhaps devoted to his/hers pop diva/musical genius/whatever...

...yet the site is months out of date.

You offer them some free 'tit bits'(excuse the pun).."wonderful" they say,"I'll put that up"...but they don't.

Now we have established the person is alive-but what is the delay.Do they need to shovel more coal on the fire to get the computer warmed up of what...

I've learn't a lesson...no more dealing with these people.They wouldn't last 5-minutes working in the real world of the media.

Aren't these sites called cobwebs.

They are created in a moment of wild enthusiasm, then lose interest.

I bet many of them have lost the userid and password so would not know how to logon to the site anyway.

dear Prof- alot has to be said of the integrity of the site owner, and their motivations.... is it a biz, or a hobbly as makes a huge difference.. I have a new site starting and will need masses of help,tips and guidence as mine ISNT a hobby,its my work- so i need to make it work.....and maybe some undertake it without realising what kind of mistress they are undertaking( one that wants ALOT of attention, till she is entirely confidemt and assured!) !wink!... x

Best Wishes with your site Sarah.Your comments are interesting.It is a common excuse of course,they are very busy and will get around as soon as possible to amend the site.

Which they never do...Yet I've know one to alter as you speak.

I find it most strange all this,I could understand if they had dropped down dead,but these people are actually alive who run them...

Like you say-they might have lost the password.I give up...

A site in question is Beth Morggan.
When her old man was updating the site it was to my mind the best mature site in UK and far better than a lot of the Yank ones. However, the site has not been updated since April 2007!!
Any contact is ignored, so what are they doing, besides fuckall?
A big shame really as to my mind she is one fucking sexy lady and to see her face splattered with spunk gave me a raging hard on. Everytime.
