I used to see him every day in Earl's Court, around 1050 am, staggering
off to the pub.

A great columnist.

Wow, thats proper old fashioned and REAL journalism...not like todays lot... i was interviewed OVER THE PHONE once for God Sake!.. Wheres the drinks,the laughs and the bonding in that!

I remember reading his 'There is a Happy Land' in English. It bored me to death to be honest.
