You make an excellent point, but I've noticed that in these debates there almost never a response based on logical argument. Instead, you will be accused of being a Nazi and/or an idiot but nothing further is offered. It's a shame because it makes the anti-BNP argument look pretty thin. Their reasoning is about as deep as saying that all black people are stupid.

That might explain why the BNP has picked up some support. Perhaps some people admire their arguments for their calm logic. Their opposition only seem to offer megaphoned chants of "Nazi Racist" etc.

i have found wind ups and tongue in cheek stuff very difficult to pull off,unless know someone well, as there is little/no intonation in a post ..(also im not a skilled a wordsmith on here,much the pity,) So if someone is going to take you absolutely literally,which is fine in a serious post, it can often lead to much confuzzlement............... x

Max i think you should be careful what the agenda actually is with the BNP and the Black Police Officers Association and why they are treated very differently.

The BPOA is set up to protect from racism within the police force and not a racial hatred agenda against white officers.

Dont think for a minuite that white people are patronising blacks because it is politically correct. Im sure that association has some kind of charter which was approved by the Met why it allows it to operate under its guise.

I hardly think a bunch of ethnic polciemen were going to plot to over throw their white colleagues, do you?

I wouldnt be surprised if ethnics in the army had the same deal for how much racism I hear coming from there too.

The government hasnt broken the BNP by a long shot. if anyhting this is the sort of thing that fels those supporters that they are getting a shit deal in their own country and futhermore, why would anyone actually want to work for the BNP knowing what it stands for?

As for joining to bring the organisation down within, well Im sure if the BNP allowed ethnics in they certainly wouldnt be giving them jobs where they will be privy to the organisations inner workings.

oej, the BPOA will take up the case of an ethnic minority police officer if he or she feels they have unjustly been turned down for a promotion but they will slam the door in the face of a white officer who may have the same gripe. If that isnt racism I dont know what is.
