Reggie, that's my whole point! There shouldn't be organisations for people based on their colour. If you disagree with BNP's whites-only policy then surely you should disagree with BPOA's ethnic-minority-only policy. I assume they will help people of mixed race, and I assume they will help someone who has one mixed-race parent and one white parent - someone who is one-quarter ethnic minority. Can you imagine the BPOA representative looking at him (the quarter-ethnic person standing in the entrance to their office). "Yes, I can see a little bit of black in you, come on in, we will assist you". The whole thing is disgraceful!!

I'm not negative about anybody, all I ask for is a level playingfield. Something we will never get. I dont agree with whites-only organisations and I dont agree with ethnic-minority-only organisations. The rules should be applied evenly across society.

I was of course, cheekily hoping you'd give me a stream of abuse there but I think you're far more likely to make people think twice about the BNP by simply laying out a few reasons like you did than by the methods used by some student union types.

By the way, there was a similar party to the BNP in Australia called 'One Nation'. Their leader was simply too dumb to be taken seriously and the party self-destructed. However, when the Government jailed her on a charge of mis-using her electoral allowance, her popularity rose significantly. If the British Government tries dragging the BNP through the courts they will probably be seen as bullies wasting more public money etc.

Even if the BNP formed a government, Britain would quickly become isolated with trade bans (imagine the USA's response!) and the BNP would most likely have to resign to avoid mass riots.

Deano, I hope the BNP dont become big, and as I said at the top it looks like the organisation is on the ropes now thanks to what the Govt is doing to it, but to imagine a hypothetical situation like you just outlined: if they did become big it would be similar to what has happened with that outfit in France, they have got about half the vote in some areas in the south of France. Wont happen with the BNP though because, as I've said, the Labour Party is going at them hard and are willing to politicise any public body, spend a lot of public money, and change laws as necessary, in order to ruin them.

I saw on the news today that the BNP have caved in, just like the Labour Party wanted them to. It said on TV that the BNP began in 1982, therefore the Establishment had 27 years to go after them (I work that out to be 324 months) for its whites-only membership policy. The BNP got one million votes this year and that translated into 2 seats in the European parliament and it is within one month of that happening that the Establishment goes after them. We are supposed to think it is just a co-incidence. It is beyond obvious that The Labour Party are just doing this to try to cut the BNP off at the knees now they have become big. I dont have any time for them, but as I said earlier in this thread, I respect mandates and I feel very sorry for many poor families in areas like Burnley, Oldham, Hull, and so on, who for PC reasons never had any people from the main 3 parties every visit their street (only the BNP knocked on their doors), and these people are now being told their vote wont really count for anything because people in Westminser, and using public money, have decided to destroy the organisation. The BNP said they could contest the Court case and probably be bankrupted, not comply and be hit with a fine so big it would have the same result (this was what the Labour Party was probably hoping for), or give in - which is quite a nice result for the Labour Party anyway because they can then try and destroy the BNP by encouraging huge numbers of ethnic miniorty people to join it and to disrupt the internal workings (think The Militant Faction who joined The Labour Party in the 1980's). I would like to see them disappear aswell, but only through legitimate processes. Those 1m people who voted for them this year should have their ballot forms back and be told that they can't have any input into the democratic process because, and for political reasons, the Labour Party dont want them to. This is of course the very Labour Party who 'won' in 2005 with 36% of the vote and have a leader who no one was consulted on the appointment of. So the BNP will be a multi-racial party from very soon forth. Does anyone have any idea why the Establishment arent going after the Black Police Association for its ethnic-minority-only policy?

>some groups need to broken up before damage is done & these are one serious racist group.

So are the extreme Muslims.

But it seems nobody is bothered about breaking them up, hence the rise in the votes for the BNP.

As long as the there are extreme Muslims in the UK there will be people who vote BNP.

None of the three main parties will even DISCUSS immigration, which is a non-subject to all of them, but a MAJOR subject to many ordinairy people.

Until some other party makes the problems of immigration one of their major manifesto issues the BNP are the ONLY part for people who CARE about immigration.

A recent report said the UK was the worst place in Europe to live, and France the best.

And yet illegal immigrants sit in Calais waiting to come over to the UK, even though they are already in France (supposedly the best country to live).

Why is that?

Is it because they know this country bends over backwards to help asylum seekers and illegal immigrants, when it does not bother to help its own people?

Is it because they know they can eventualy "fiddle" the benefits system so that they can live on benefits (how many of the Muslim bombers were found to be living on benefits)?

This country has been a soft touch for years, and most "ordinary" people know it, we are being taken for a ride by these so called asylum seekers and illegal immigrants (and legal immigrants).

The BNP seem the ONLY party who even voice it as a problem, the rest just pretend it is not happening and hope it will go away.

As long as the 3 main parties ignore the problem the BNP will continue to get votes.
