Patrick Swayze is dead...

Just heard this on the news, he has died at the age of 57. He apparently never made much money, in spite of massive success at various times. Originally a dancer he had to cut his career short and move into acting due to an injury. He starred in one of the most successful films ever, Ghost, but apparently he agreed beforehand to accept a low gaurenteed fee for appearing in it - that way he is gaurenteed some money even if the film is a flop - or he could have gone for no fee and a percentage of the earnings, which is risky in case the thing bombs cos then you don't make a penny. He chose the former, but the film was a gigantic success, and he lost out big time. Later on he appeared in some not terribly good roles in obscure films. May he Rest In Peace. 57 in quite early to go...

Very sad. Shame he didnt make the riches people thought he did but hey...Life is like that.

Still Im sure he was far from destitute.
