o/t Forum Quiet

Post by magoo »

The last 24 hours seem to have been very quiet in here. I have never known so few posts be made. Has everyone gone away on a chartered jet for a little publicised BGAFd group holiday in Ibiza? Or are some posters using particular ISPs unable to post due to tech problems? I remember once when loads of people were unable to post yet a few could still get through no problem. Has it happened again?

Must get Ray Vonn to look at your servers. He will rig them up to a council streetlight and bingo. Still one good thing about it being so quiet is that I could spend tonight watching Pheonix Nights over and over again. Brian Potter for president when the revolution comes! "Shut up ya girl" can be his election slogan.

Crikey! Baby Jesus and the orphans! Theres some others alive in here. Just as I thought all hands had perished two lone voices cry out from the wilderness to reassure me that the BGAFD has not become a Mary Celeste style thing.

Lizard I know its the early hours but I did say it had been quiet for the last 24 hours or more.

No sugars in Aces tea hes on a diet. Any chance of one of your digestive biccies please Ace. My kitchen is still unusable so I am relying on crisps, beer and scotch eggs for sustinence. Hopefully the RAF will drop me a Red Cross food parcel soon.

Chorley FMs Greatest Hits on soon. Must dash.

Got anything to do with the start of your 'Football'season.

I'd post but I've got nothing relevant to talk about.
The only thing British I've come across recently was a full 90 pic set of Laura S....R,only s/c but you take what you can.

You seen her in Rich Bitch by any chance M?

No nothing to do with that - no fucker's interested in all that ball kicking nonsense anymore. People?s leisure time is much more diluted nowadays with hundreds of TV and satellite channels, magazines, e-mails and a few million websites vying for our attention. Not to mention all those fancy software packages that you've bought promising yourself that one day you will find time to sit down and begin to learn them. I was discussing this very subject with a once avid football fan just the other day. He finds that he doesn?t go to matches anymore and is not really interested in watching them for various reasons like - no free time, footballers are overpaid boring bastards who he refuses to subsidise anymore, and he now has more interesting and productive fish to fry like ensuring his business grows and runs smoothly.

Hey Buttsie you hardly ever have anything "to talk about" Indeed I find myself avoiding you posts as experience has taught me that in 90% of instances it will be meaningless prattle and banter (forumites should beware of any lengthy Buttsie/jj rallies) But when you do have something to say I'll grant that it is as interesting and relevant as any other forumites opinion.

Magoo, great minds think alike. You were absolutely right when you suggested that Friday night was a bit quite on the forum. I had a look but nobody had anything the remotest bit interesting to say. It was like "The Drivel Drive-In" So I got down to doing some work instead.

There are a few lurkers though, snooping but not contributing. I have to admit if nothing's on my mind and there isn't anything worth replying to, I keep quiet.

I plead guilty as charged, but perforce anything I would post would be off-topic & a foreign abomination. So as Peeping Tom Bud Bundy once said, "I just look."
