I've had the original Tocco for about 18 months and ready for an upgrade myself. It's never let me down and the touch-screen is better than the LG ones I've tried. Not sure about this ultra edition though, sorry.

Apparently, it depends where they were made (this is true of all phones). Quality control in Germany is better than quality control in Pakistan and so you get big differences in reliability etc.

The nitty-gritty is that if you're on contract with a decent provider like Orange/Vodophone you'll get a phone that's had good quality control. Get a cheap contract from 3, or buy one on pay as you go and you'll get the phone that was rushed through manufacturing by low-skilled workers.

Thanks everyone im still toying with the idea of the new samsung galaxy but theyre a bit untried and tested, the wise move i guess is to go with the tocco ultra as theres so quite good reviews online

I have had a Tocco for 16 months now (on an Orange contract), never had a problem with it and the 8GB memory card carries all my fav music (Johnny Cash/The Clash/The Jam) and the FM radio is gr8.

get one - u wont regret it !
