Tony Blair likely to become EU President...

Surely the Iraq and Afghanistan wars should have been for Tony Blair rather similar to what the Chappaquiddick Incident was for the late American Senator Ted Kennedy*. I thought Blair's future was going to be like that of Kennedy's, but no. Teflon Tony bounces back! Having made more than ?15 million in the last 3 years, trading off contacts he made whilst in politics, he now looks set to become emporer of the 27 EU countries!

I personally think the son of a bitch should be jailed and held in an 8' by 8' cell for the rest of his life - for the lies he told over Iraq and Afghanistan, the number of our soldiers who have died because of his lies, the numbers of people in those 2 countries who have died as a result, and the danger the western world is now in because of it all. Isn't it sickening that Tony B liar is now going to get this job, and no doubt keep earning a fortune on the side aswell?

Surely the lies that took us into the two wars should really have been the thing that finished Blair, 'his Chappaquiddick' if you like, and should have done for him like Chappaquiddick itself did for Ted Kennedy? Normally a career ruining moment has consequences forever. Not for Tony Blair though! What are other people's views on the fact Blair now looks certain to get this job?

Sanity may prevail. The reporting of the story in the UK will be very biased and pro Tony. In France, Germany, Sweden and other EU countries they may well have reservations but if this is the case don't expect the UK news media to report them.

Milliband reckons he should get the job because he can command a motorcade. It begs the question 'should Milliband be 'sectioned'.
