You do not live in a Police state, you have no idea of what a police state is like, i suggest you go and live in one then get a grip on reality and come back better educated.
i have by the way before you start.
also before you start jibbing on about anti terrorist laws again, i suggest you actually bother to go and reseacrh them, read them would be good too.
ignorance is near enough a crime itself, you're starting to sound like a typical sun, daily mirror reader

Oh and actually I do have a clue what i'm talking about, given that A. Know the terrorist legislation inside out having studied it, and B. as already pointed out have lived/worked in a 'Police state' know that there are some places still where you can just simply dissappear. End of, never seen again. Thats a Police state my friend.
And get off the 'guy shot in the tube bandwagon', a tragic mistake yes, not without its mistakes, but also understandable given the events at the time.
Hardly something that happens everyday. Put the Mirror down now please.

Go and shove your head into a bucket of shite you ingorant cunt, you know fuck all, and i expect the only book you have ever read is Noddy and Big ears, because what you are trying to say is that i am a liar and i wasnt stopped at gunpoint by the police who were miss using the anti-terrorist act, well if you know as much as you say then you would also know that this would have been kept on record, now can you tell me for how many years, fucking bookworms i live life for real boy and not out of a fucking book. now go away and read your comics.

Re: Police with machine guns for London's streets...
I read in a London newspaper today that community leaders (whoever they are), in the 3 London boroughs where they are proposing to have the machine-gun Police patrols, are annoyed they werent consulted! Self-appointed people, who the locals have probably never heard of, somehow got their grips and moans printed in the newspaper! If these 3 areas have been turned into an equivilant of Compton in Los Angeles (drug cartels gunning each other down on a daily basis in turf wars) then surely the Home Office and the Police should be able to decide whether to deploy these machine-gun Police or not. Not community 'leaders'! I always wonder why the papers run these stories.
