If calling a terrorist a camel shagger upsets you, maybe you should get out more.
Why 'camel shagger'? You wouldn't have called an IRA terrorist a 'camel shagger' in the 80s so I can only assume you're using their race, not their politics, against them. That's racism, whether I 'get out more' or not.

JR
"In fact they are mild compared to how I would describe them. As Dick said, you need to get out more, or even better get out of this country. Are we now not allowed to be patriotic?
I do hope you observe your two minutes of silence on the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. That is the VERY least you can do to remember those who have fallen to give you the right to live your life and say what you want, when you want.
That is a very small price to pay."
JR, I can see absolutely no connection whatsoever between any phrase in the above and Sam's post. Sam was making no comment on patriotism, the Remembrance event etc etc. He merely stated that the use of the term "camel shagger" is racist in a similar way presumably to the use of the words Paki and nigger. That is his view and he has a right to hold it.
To quote Dick "and if some people find that what I've said is maybe not politically correct that is their privilege". Quite!
The terms you used are not being used in a Racist context.
Terms I used? See my reply to dick why I think calling someone a 'camel shagger' is racist.
As Dick said, you need to get out more, or even better get out of this country.
Lol! I've either got to tolerate racism or 'fuck off'?!! Ha-ha!
Are we now not allowed to be patriotic?
You can be patriotic without resorting to racist remarks. Stop being childish.

Freedom of speech comes with responsibilities that we all must adhere to to get along. Since you bring up patriotism may I remind you that one of the things the British were traditionally renowned and admired for was good manners and fair play. Calling someone a 'camel shagger' is neither.
I just think it's sad that Remembrance Day cannot be just about respect and reflection. Why name-calling has to be part of it I cannot fathom.
You used them, no o ne else did!
Used what?
I don't see how that is funny. If you think so, than just 'fuck off'
You're quite right, it's not funny and you implying I should leave the country just because I don't think racist comments are nice should have made me more annoyed than they did. And less of the 'fuck off' comments if you don't mind.
YOU made the racist remarks, not me.
What racist remarks? And I never accused you of making racist remarks, I accused Dick Moby. My reply to you was a retort to your defence of them.
I never called anyone a 'camel shagger'. As for the name calling, you kept it going, not me.
I never said you did. And have I called anyone on this thread names? We're only 3 or 4 posts into this debate and you seem mighty confused.
