I've no idea as I dont know him at all
This sounds pretty positive from his wiki page
"Beginning to think he was indispensable at Radio 1, the first big falling-out with management came in December 1995 after taking his crew out on a 17 hour pub-crawl which ended two hours before they were due on air"
How is Chris Evans so rich?
Re: How is Chris Evans so rich?
When he sold Virgin radio he gave half of his fortune to charity as he thought it was an obscene amount of money for one person to have, the guy may be a little loud but his hearts in the right place.

Well colour me cynical but how the fuck is buying a radio station for ?85 million and then selling it for 225 quid being "very clever".!wink!
Is he a banker perchance.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Charities, Reggie?
Reggie said
"I can't find any mention of his giving any money to charity, would like to think it was true, do you by any chance have a link?"
"would like to think it was true!!!" Alas you also said elsewhere,
"Charities are a nasty type of business which exist because of the tax free benefits. The trustees get their salaries, bonuses and company cars long before a penny goes to charity and in the case of one charity-worker I talked to, force their staff to retire at 60, quite nasty people really"
Come now Reggie, even if Chris Evans gave his money to a charity, its a "nasty type of business" and it was into the pockets of all those "nasty people".
Ever thought, Reggie, that there is the merest hint of you morphing into Victor Meldrew?

Thankfully, Evans is not quite as irritating these days.
And he's very popular - so much so the BBC have granted him the breakfast show when Wogan retires.
