You can see the line numbers of the htm file if your view the page in Internet Explorer 8, and click "View Source". Or view the file in an appropriate editor and it will have an option to show the line numbers.

The link on line 10 works correctly,so i'm not sure what the issue is, unless you fixed it already. If you're wondering what the %20 are in the htm name, thats because you used spaces in the filename.

You also want to check your site, there are images on there that are not deinterlaced and look hideous. Also the first image that shows on the page you linked to is showing at 360x288 as you have chosen, but the actual image is twice the size. You should resize this before you upload it, so that a) you use less bandwidth b) the client uses less bandwidth c) the page loads considerably quicker.

Twingo,
Many thanks and this old pornographer is going to try to get his head around it.
Incidentally my page loads up quickly in Firefox but takes forever in Windows Explorer and perhaps I am using the old browser 7, I will check it our.
What is "interlaced" I have no idea!
I do appreciate your help and there is anyhing that I can do for you please let me know.

I did this and it gives no errors on line ten but on line one it said failed to preload images? Or words to that effect?

I had a quick look through the htm file and i "think" its because you have not inserted MM javascript functions anywhere in your htm file. One of the MM functions your missing is below and should be in your htm file as well as the other functions you have used.

Twingo,
Thanks for the advice mate as to why my page http://www.eroticartist.co.uk/enter is only partially loading in Internet Explorer. Your explanation is like rocket science to this old pornographer any chance of telling me what to do in layman's terms?

Mike

How are you creating the HTM files? What program are you using?

One of errors you have is that you are using a Javascript function (MM_swapImage) so that when a visitor moves the mouse over an image, it changes the image. However you have not copied the instruction/function/script into the HTM file itself, so it cannot execute and soft errors.

To correct this you need to place all the Javascript functions that you are referencing into the HTM file or a seperate script file. From what i can see that is MM_swapImage / MM_swapImgRestore / MM_preloadImages. Doing so will stop it erroring and also make the swap image function work. You can also remove the SymOnUnload javascript code at the end of the page, as its doing nothing, unles you plan to use it in future.
