US Cop Caught Up In Snowball Fight

Post by crofter »

So he draws his gun!shocked!

now you might find this originally quite scary that this could happen until you see and listen to some of these annoying yanks ... I think he did show a bit of restraint as it happens as I personally would have taken great joy in blasting a few of them to bits!wink!

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Just goes to show how jumpy some cops are if you ask me.

i think cops know they are not liked by a whole lot of people just because of their jobs but watch how grateful people are when they come through in an hour of need.

I think being a cop is a thankless job and can understand why some of them are bitter towards people and the system.

With Yank cops if somebody is going to get hurt they make sure it's not going to be them.
I was in America in the 70's. If you asked a cop for directions his hand automatically went to his gun.
I don't think they have the same carry on as our lot if they "accidentally" shoot someone.

What do you mean by accidentally shooting someone. There is no such thing as accidentally shooting. ALL shootings are either intended OR negligent. Nothing fucking else.
This is one reason why British cops shouldn't be allowed within a hundred yards of a gun unless they are ex soldiers. As for the Yanks, none of the bastards should be allowed near a gun.
Before anyone takes me to task on this statement, the British Army trains soldiers extremely well in weapon handling and there is no such thing as an accidental discharge in the British Army. Unless a round is deliberately aimed and fired then any other discharge is negligence. Pure and simple.
British police seem to shoot willy nilly and claim it was an accident!! Fucking incompetent twatts!!
Recently a so called police weapons instructor aimed a pistol at a member of his class and pulled the trigger and shot the poor sod, who luckily survived. Useless instructor who couldn't aim properly either. If I'd aimed a pistol and shot at someone I can guarantee that they would die.
The bastard claimed that he didn't know the gun was loaded. What a fucking twatt!
As a former weapons instructor I was taught to clear ALL weapons in a class, then to clear each individual student before ANY instruction took place. It aint rocket science. Just pure common sense.

If you read the post you'd see the word accidentally was in inverted commas.i.e. sarcastically

The Cop could have handled it better

I think the those throwing snowballs at the cop and basically getting their dis-respect out of their system were lucky he wasnt armed with a tazer because you can almost bet he would have used it to show he was serious

All the bravado towards the end when he realised he'd over reacted really shows a lack of training

easy tiger, I live in NI and all our cops carry guns, don't see them shooting willy nilly unless they absolutey have to.

I think its definitely a training issue, teach someone in a gung ho fashion and they carry that on, teach them properly and they don't although you'll always have the immature who think guns are cool blah blah blah etc

NI is different than mainland UK in that the police have been carrying guns and using them when required for what seems an eternity. Having served in Ulster I can state that the RUC are able to handle weapons properly. The bunch of gung ho twatts we have here are those who I am refering to.
