The bottom line is that regardless of what you think he should have been assessed for mental illness before killing him. To me, this seems sensible and fair (setting aside my feelings on capital punishment). A man's life is worth the effort of a quick assessment, surely?

Reggie smearing the dead

Post by David Johnson »

Hi Dick,
"Does evidence really matter now ? The fact is, he's gone, and more importantly the 4kg of heroin he was carrying is off the streets"

Well, Shaikh wont be complaining about Reggie that's for sure.

Personally I think, Reggie smearing via innuendo a mentally ill man who died in tragic circumstances is a pretty gutless thing to do.

Reggie's view is that he was guilty of planning the operation and "secreted them (the drugs) on his person with a view to smuggling them".

I repeatedly asked him to give the evidence to back up his argument, knowing that he wouldn't, but I wanted to show how gutless Reggie appears to be.

Obviously, proof that he had hid the drugs about his person on the flight would show that Shaikh had knowingly and willingly got involved which was Reggie's argument. Shaikh throughout denied having any knowledge of the drugs. I knew Reggie wouldn/t substantiate the smear.

In the thread on the McCanns, he made a similar smear to the one which resulted in Associated Newspapers paying ?500000+ damages. Quote from Reggie "The swinger allegation is perfectly true" and "The Mc Canns went off boozing with their swinger friends for a whole evening."

This is the relevant link

Fortunately for Reggie, the McCanns lawyers have shown that they aren't interested in going for small fry Internet smear merchants.

So from smearing the parents over a child that has disappeared to smearing a mentally ill man who died in tragic circumstances.

So come on Reggie, are you as gutless as you appear to be? Either apologise or give us the evidence that Shaikh hid the drugs about his person

Cheers
David

Thank you Reggie. I'll stop teasing you now.

By refusing to give any evidence/report or whatever for your statement that Shaikh hid the drugs about his person, you have revealed the kind of person you are.

Must be time for you to change your name again Keith/Reggie. Keeping in mind that in defence of your smear about the McCanns you posted that it was peculiar for a family to go on holiday with another family of a similar age, could I suggest you now call yourself

Mary Whitehouse?

Cheers

Now hold up. I think if they are innocent (until proven guilty) then there is nothing wrong with fund raising as Im sure all this legal stuff and hiring private detectives is costing a mega fortune
I think he should have been deported to serve a prison sentence in the UK, it would have got around the mental illness issue and the death penalty.
I agree, but surely the only other fair alternative, if China didn't wan't to hand him over to us, was to at least have him assessed for mental illness before convicting him.

You've given your reasons as to why you believe him to be sane and thus fully culpable but it's all conjecture and should never be enough to convict anyone. I don't think he got a fair trial, regardless of the death penalty.

" I think you need the imagination of a simpleton or sheer stupidity not to notice 4Kg of extra luggage in your bag."

But previously Keith/Reggie you stated that he "secreted them about his person"?

Are you at long last admitting that you didnt know what you were talking about when you said that?
