Nice one Lizard ...!wink!
Sam please just go away and have a large donner on the house it will cheer you up no end as I really think you must have had a sense of humour reduction operation when you were born.
So we are not allowed to crack jokes about Lizard eating jellied eels in his pearly costume or Buttsie putting some shrimps on the barbie while shaking his didgeridoo??
That is what it basically boils down too ... I am awaiting feedback from a moderator on this subject so watch this space .... off to chew some haggis whilst perusing my tartan shortbread tin collection.!thumbsdown!

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

I totally agree, mrmcfister. Same with kosher meat. It's the same old story of giving religion too much respect. If anyone tortured animals in the same way Halal and Kosher is produced they'd be taken to court. Do it in god's name, though, and it's all......well.......kosher.

Interesting OEJ, so what you are saying is that Halal is some sort of holy meat that cannot be discussed by us mere Westerners ... fucking news to me that one guv.

Ah....so it wasn't a serious question then?

Of course it wasn't a serious question ... but it might have been genuine.!wink!

Why ask a 'genuine' question if you know the answer?
It was a shit joke anyway. I mean, REALLY shit. Muslims + Halal = Camels.......genius.

Re: Why the hell was my Halal post removed
Yes well done Sam - you finally got there in the end, though I don't recall saying it as an award winning joke (that you seem to be so renowned for) it was more of a throw away comment ... which seems to have been thrown away by an invisible moderator.

"Halal... nasty nasty religeous (sic) bollocks..painful to animals ..I hate zealots ..fancy having your throat cut and thrashing about til oblivion kicks in? This is 2010 not 1327...wankers." said mrmcfister
"I totally agree, mrmcfister." said Sam Slater
I'm certainly not defending the halal/kosher approach, but it's also worth acknowledging that more standard practices in the meat industry cause considerable and unnecessary suffering to animals, too. Similarly "nasty, nasty bollocks (which is) painful to animals", but in the name of profits and prices as opposed to religion. Both are fucked up in their own ways.
