It seems to be all over now but gathered a bit of pace yesterday. Apparently Geoff "Saddam can launch WMD's in 45 minutes" Hoon started it, along with Patricia "I'm now earning a bundle in the private sector from all the contacts I made in Whitehall" Hewitt, both wanted Gordon The Ego out and it has been claimed by some in the Labour Party that Hoon was the principal mutineer because he was hacked off over how The Ego never gave him a top job in Europe last year.
We have been anticipating a large loss for Labour at the election this year, now, because of these divisions, they will lose even more heavily I suspect. It actually concerns me a bit because we will now have Call Me Dave as PM for so long, because the Labour opposition will be a much less credible party following their even greater loss at the polls, that the Tories will be able to do whatever they like without any solid, potent, opposition to keep them on their toes.
What do other people think? Will this action by Hoon and Hewitt create a bigger loss for Labour this year, as people are now viewing them as a divided party, and also could this action just be the first of many from disgruntled people within the Labour party?

Max
Very few doubt that we will win the next election but felt that if Green Dave was allowed media space to introduce policy and in turn show himself as the bollocks brain he is which was happening on Monday after his married I will I wont tax stutter that the defeat, while big, wouldn't be huge.
Hoon and Hewitt then come along just as the media started reporting hey this bloke's a twat and gave them the opportunity to drop that story and go back for the knives out for Brown.
The division in Labour does exist but isn't huge as is being reported because we know that if we went back to the days these clowns want we would have even less chance which is why the two idiots were told to go fuck themselves.
The problem now is Cameron has been given an open door to revert back to his divided party routine and the examination of what he intends to do which changes dependant on who he is addressing won't be as strong as it was just three days ago.
While that will be bad for Labour it will be a lot worse for those thinking this guy is a top bloke so I'll vote for him.

Re: The mini mutiny in the Labour Party...
There are always deep divisions in all parties, the only time this causes problems is if the dissent comes from serving front bench ministers, all the rest is piss in the snow. Hoon and Hewitt are 'yesterday's ministers' and therefore irrelavant. I dont think this has any detrimental effect on Brown, he is deeply unpopular with the general public, so imagine Labour win another term, very difficult, but not impossible, things will just stay as they are, but with an even smaller majority for the Ego, possibly less than 30, still deep division fom the Milliband and postman pat supporters, and we go through another 5yrs of misery, and having to listen to wobblechin and the Hatchet, telling us how to live our lives.
The BNP seems deeply attractive to me at the moment, and I loathe the fuckers.

If Labour did win the next election then the BNP will stand a good chance of winning the one after.

I'm surprised that Buffoon had the balls to do what he did. He didn't have any balls when he was the Defence Secretary. Probably one of the worst bosses at the MoD that I or any of my friends in the services can remember.
A useless fucking arshole was the general feeling among the troops for this buffoon.
