It's amazing isn't it. Over 40 years old and still as spine-tinglingly good as when it first appeared. That sound they developed after Rubber Soul/Revolver still gets to me. It's just never been equaled by anyone else since.
I'm also amazed at how some people just don't get The Beatles. I know Reg doesn't - but he doesn't even like Reg. He looks in the mirror and says "Oi! Fuck off yeah?" Some say he doesn't even like rainbows and children laughing. Poor cunt.

Yes, I was poking fun at you because I have no respect for my superiors.
I can't speak for all Beatles fans about failing to move on, but I certainly love lots of music recorded well after the Beatles, but it's just they are special.
