Yet again we give in to these dickheads (European court of human rights).
In the aftermath of 9/11 i worked in east london and was stopped in my work van every other day by armed police, Both i and my van were searched on different occasions and i didnt go crying to the courts.
Yet these two british citizens protesting at an arms fair no less start whining staight away.
I am a british citizen also by the way.
No more terror stop and search
No more terror stop and search
COME ON YOU IRONS
Re: No more terror stop and search
The problem is they just can't be trusted to use the powers responsibly, but totally go over the top, and so lose the will of the public, and a useful crimefighting tool has been taken away.
But when you stop and search white people for no other reason than to racially balance the figures, is it any wonder they have their powers taken away?

We have need of you again, great king.

Not correct
The title of your message
"No more terror stop and search" is totally incorrect.
Read the messages in this link if you want to know why you are wrong. They refer to photography, but the principle is the same irrespective of whether photography is involved.

The case in the news today was about Section 44, the use of which has been greatly reduced anyway in the past 5 months. Section 43 still covers stop and search and is untouched.
Cheers

Agreed. That's why I can't go into the grocers and buy a pound of apples now, nor order a pint in a pub. And we all have to use bloody Euros!
..............oh wait, we don't.

The fastest way to prevent a stop and search is to make sure you have a big woody in your pocket with a dreamy look on your face, lick your lips and say in a breathy voice: Ive been waiting for this all day.... and the officer will let you go about your business.
Works for me every time.
I tried using the "Itz cos I iz black innit. babylon always want fe mess wit da black man! " but that is just so played out these days

Yes Peter but it is hardly the police's fault for having to stop a balance of people in order to defend the charge of being discriminatory. Once again human rights lawyers have brought about that not the police.
Over the years it simply comes to my mind that no matter what the forces of law and order do they get crucified for doing the right thing and crucified for doing the wrong thing. Mistakes get made, its part of being human but I don't think Senior Police Officers and other law agencies sit in a room somewhere and come up with cunning plans how to fuck themselves up even more.

Re: No more terror stop and search
Ah yes I see it now, another terrorist attack followed by the, 'well what are the government/police/authorities doing about it followed by 'well you took our powers away' followed by ' well can't you do your job without any powers I mean really the thought you actually might need powers sickens me, i'm outraged how dare you'.
