That's where you are once again showing your ignorance. Fatwas of this sort have been issued before by "moderate" clerics, both here and abroad. Maybe you need to change where you get your day to day information from.

I dont think your average fanatic would be that easily dissauded,mores the shame.....Here in the Uk , Maybe more Imans in mosques giving extreme views FOR peace and being true to the Muslim faith, rather than this distorted,hatefilled stuff looking to influence impressionable minds ..........It might be a minority,but its a powerfull one with a far reaching voice ..... Yes, it is a start, a long overdue start at last from the Muslim community.
It still does not change my view that the Islamic terrorists are like the IRA. They like killing and have no wish to embrace Islam. If the bastards did then there wouldn't be any of them attacking the western nations because of their so called offences against Islam. The bastards just use that as an excuse.
