I'm off sick, miserable, at home, with Shingles. I thought It was an old grannies illness, not something a sexy stud like me can catch....

Yep, had it myself, combined with two other ilnesses at the same time.

Managed to get it on the inside on my eyelid, which scratched the eye, which got infected. Ended up on 28 (expensive, ?8 each) pills a day, and slept virtually non stop for nine days.

When your better, if you feel like doing your duty, there's apparently something special in your blood for about 18 months after you've had it, so see if the blood transfusion people want you.

that sounds awfull. mines acroos left side of the chest, shoulder, neck and back of head.
Good tip about the blood though. I'll see if i can do my bit.
I'm feeling grumpy though, the wierd pain is so annoying.
its good to have a moan though.

Hi Rob,
I've also been diagnosed with shingles this week...not v nice & bloody painful 2...well look on the bright side at least we haven't got man flu...! lol
