Looks like the BNP didn't do too well in court again today with version 12 of their constitution.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8564742.stm
About time Nasty Nick got an Asbo for these frequent offences.
This time the judge took the view that asking non-indigenous people i.e. non-white to join only on the basis that they agreed not to bring any of their culture with them was indirect discrimination. In addition any new members had to refuse to do anything to help assimilation and integration of non-whites with whites.
Nasty Nick was subsequently on the radio saying that he had caved in to the judge, had agreed to the ruling and that the BNP was now taking new members. Whether he is actually telling the truth is a different matter.
Personally, I can't see how a fundamentally racist party in terms of their constitution (send Britain back to the racial setup of 1948 etc) can actually conform to the legal requirements.
We will see if they have to come up with a 13th version (unlucky for some) of their constitution soon.

13th time lucky for BNP?
Re: 13th time lucky for BNP?
David, I know you're not too keen on the BNP but why do you spend so much time researching every little detail ? and why do you have to post them ?.

!. The simple fact that you spend any time researching ---- is too much
2. You're entitled to post what you want
3. I don't like it or dislike it but you certainly seemed to be worried about something.

Re: 13th time lucky for BNP?
he is a student in the UAF.loads of time on his hands to sit in the student union drinking cheap cider, surfing the net planning to change the world!happy!
looks like another good day for the BNP they got loads of publicity, thwarted the enemies who believed they could cause them to split or implode , got loads of people to sign up for membership which should lead to far more money than it takes to cover legal costs, frustrated the enemy who thought they would stop the party contesting this year's elections, and still not really changed in any way that will cause them a problem, todays judgement reinforces their image as being persecuted just for standing up for the indigenous British people which in itself will bring a flood of donations which will probably more then cover the ?60,000 costs they were ordered to pay. Now that they are allowing ethnics to join they cant be called a racist party which was one of their opponents main weapons against them. No one doubts that this was a politically motivated court case with the intention of either closing down the BNP or bleeding them dry financially so they couldnt contest the coming general election and neither of these 2 things have happened.Griffin walks away laughing again.

Re: 13th time lucky for BNP?
I know we've discussed this before but I will again state that I think it is wrong that the Equalities lot keep going after the BNP when they wont go after any other organisations/groups/bodies (be them large or very small set-ups) who discriminate aswell. I think it would be fair to either allow all set-ups that disriminate to do it or none to - I would prefer that latter - but the Equalities people are selective in who they go after.
There are Asian elders clubs in Southall, black pensioners clubs in Notting Hill, the Voice newspaper, the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, and hundreds of other things. No one says anything about them. A white or Asian reitred couple, who live in the road where one of these black pensioners groups are located in Notting Hill, would presumably be turned away at the door if they tried to join because they are the wrong colour, the same would apply to black or white people trying to join one of the groups in Southall. As to whether a white music artist would be considered for a MOBO award, the answer is rather obvious - the clue is in the name of the award ceremony.
It think all this is wrong. People are bound to say that the BNP are differnt in that they are a political party and there are differnt rules for political parties than for these other things I have mentioned, but I don't see why that should be the case.

Yes, it's VERY obvious. That's because people like The Bestie Boys, Amy Winehouse, Eminem, Mr Hudson and Tim Westwood have all either won, or been nominated for, different MOBO awards and all white (well, Winehouse is half Jewish but she's none-black). I can't be sure but I think some Asian artists have been up for MOBOs too.
If you're going to make political points and want to be taken seriously at least do some fucking research first. The internet is at your fingertips, after all.

Davey
Davey,
You know nothing about me. If you want to fantasise about me whilst you are working down a hole in central London, you're welcome. Your fantasies mean nothing to me.
"Now that they are allowing ethnics to join they cant be called a racist party which was one of their opponents main weapons against them."
Don't be silly, Davey.
I have already challenged you to explain to the forumites how a party that has long stated that it wants to take back the population to its racial mix of 1948 i.e. before the Caribbean and Asian movements occurred, is not racist in it's intent.
Iif you recall this was at the same time you got spanked by BGAFD admin. for supporting models on the importance of racial purity with regard to avoiding interracial sex.
You refused to reply. My guess is you will run away again.
"No one doubts that this was a politically motivated court case with the intention of either closing down the BNP"
This is very silly again, Davey.
It was because the BNP were breaking race law with regard to political parties. Although having racist views is not in itself against the law, having those views enshrined in a political party is against the law. The judge in the High Court agreed and hence found against the BNP.
The mistake that the Equalities and Human Rights Commission made was not bringing the case years ago.

Max
You never did understand this. Making a comparison between a political party which if elected will be responsible for the entire UK population with an Asian club in Southall is a tad far-fetched.
But you don't get that. Never have and probably never will.
Never mind eh?
