Skins - final episode...

I just watched this on E4, and it was odd to say the least. This is the end of series 4 and the cast from #3 and #4 are leaving, next series will be a whole new lot, just like at the end of series 2 the original crowd from series 1 and 2 left and were replaced.

Tonight we saw the lunatic Doctor approach Cook with his baseball bat, the loony Doctor had battered Freddie to death last week. Cook lunged at him tonight and the episode, and the entire series, ended on that note. So we don't know if Cook, who is on the run from prison, bumped-off the Doctor or vice-versa.

At the end of series 2 they explained where all the characters were going to, tonight we just had it told to us that two are going to Harvard in the USA, one to Goldsmiths in London, and that is it. It was left unexplained about all the others. Series 5 will start next year with the viewers not knowing what has happened to everyone - but they will all have left.

Series 1 and 2 were brilliant, and the characters were very well written. I have both series' on DVD. Series 3 and 4 were poor I think, the characters weren't as good as the original lot, and tonight's ending was badly done.

Anyone else watch it and what did you think? I personally hope series 5 next year is better than these last two series!

You're not giving me a reason to watch any of it, let alone persevere with series 5 !

I'm just kind of hoping that the next series will be as good as series 1 and 2 were. I dont know what went wrong with 3 and 4.
