I do try and kill the bastards when I see any with my air rifle.
I have knocked off 11 grey squirrels since xmas and several pigeons.
muntjac move very fast so are harder to try and get a good head shot.
I would need a head shot as I dont think an air rifle would like one with a body shot.

ECG1, I'm sensing some satire in your post given the phrasing of the post title/your comment versus the focus of the article. If so, I like it!

On a more serious note, the report states that the non-native species were introduced by humans, so I think we've got to take the blame for this one. Otherwise, it's like setting up a python and a mouse as roommates, then berating the former for eating the later. Or asking John Terry and Ashley Cole to keep your missus company, then complaining when....
