It's official - Brown resigns as PM

Post by Bob Singleton »

So the inevitable has happened.

Now it's just a case of wait and see to find out what price the Tories have had to pay for Lib Dem support. Rumours abound that Ken Clarke will be Chancellor with Vince Cable as Chief Secretary to the Treasury instead of George Osborne getting No 11 had the Tories gained an overall majority.

"But how to make Liverpool economically prosperous? If only there was some way for Liverpudlians to profit from going on and on about the past in a whiny voice."
