Re: RIP Dennis Hopper
He was wonderfully evil in Paris Trout, which is a film not too many are keen on.

Re: RIP Dennis Hopper
Blue Velvet was cited as one "ill movie" (rap vernacular for dark and interesting) by Ice T at a concert..along with Se7en
That gas mask, the rapes and propensity for sudden violence and equally sudden calmness to the dark and jazz music still resonates with me today
Especially when you consider he got the part by telling David Lynch..."I am Frank Booth"
One of the darkest characters Ive ever seen on the big screen. Ever!

Re: RIP Dennis Hopper
After "Easy Rider" he had a lot of leading parts but I always enjoyed his small roles in westerns like "True Grit". He was a strange link between the Golden Age of Hollywood and the present.
Re: RIP Dennis Hopper
Yes Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet was the most memorable psychotic i have ever seen in a film, he was a brilliant actor & its a sad loss to his family & the film industry.
