It is the Lib Dems who are in favour of joining the euro and giving up that level of control over our economy. Nick Clegg announced in 2009 that we should be looking at joining the euro as a way of getting out of the recession. What an idiot!

Yup , I saw Harriet Harman tearing into Cleggie about his about turn on VAT increases in the Commons and he looked like a little boy caught scrumping apples. He was on one side of Osborne and Danny Alexander, the Lib Dem Treasury Secretary was on the other side.
May 5th talking about the unfairness of VAT increases; June 22nd supporting a 2.5 % increase. Lib Dems in a nutshell.
