Footballers spitting on camera

Post by Flat_Eric »

Why do they do it?

You never used to see it (or only rarely). Now the fuckers are all at it. It's as if they deliberately wait until the camera pans onto them before letting fly with a big gob of phlegm.

Ronaldo coming off the pitch last night (after an anonymous game) was the most blatant yet at this World Cup: camera right in front of him, he looks right at it and gobs.

Fucking disgusting bastards. It's 'orrible.

I've also noticed a LOT of footballers at this World Cup with loads of tattoos. That's another thing you never used to see.

Once again - why??

I suspect they always used to do it but TV never really spent as much time zooming in on people as it does now. Vigorous exercise thickens your 'spit' and its unpleasant to carry on exercising without getting rid of it once in a while.

I admit however there are more subtle ways of doing it although for the most part I'm sure they're not aware a camera is on them at that exact time with the exception of incidents like Ronaldo. To me though thats just arrogance of being overpaid and not really giving a crap about setting standards.

I'm not really defending footballers as I can't stand them, more in defence of a bodily function.

As for tattoos, sure thats the fashion at the mo surely you've seen any amount of oiks running about with the latest 'tribal' offering.

But they never do it when playing indoors, 5-a-side, etc. More of a bad habit than a necessity.
We have need of you again, great king.

a good point although I believe its due to dehydration hence the spit thickening up, and 5 aside offers more opportunity to grab a quick glug of water.

Again I think most footballers are chavvy bastards so not really defending them.

I do long distance running ( well more than 10m thats pretty long :P )

and I find I have to get rid of it now and then although I make sure noone is looking and try to do it as subtly as poss

So that s wher porn folks get it do they.

Winds me up when I see it on porn shoots. Its like saying her pussy is nasty and the bloke wont lick it. Well thats what goes through my mind if the bloke doesnt but its even more of a put off if he licks up his own spit.

I dunno about that, Eric. Camera shots from the 70s & 60s, as well as the tvs we all watched our matches on, just didn't have the resolution and quality to zoom in and pick it all up!

Watching someone gobbing phlegm up in HD aint pretty, I'll admit!
