Mothers Murdering or Abusing their Children

Post by Deano! »

Is it just my imagination, or are there an increasing number of utterly horrid mothers these days?

Now, before I'm marched off to a 're-education camp' I will readily admit that shit-scum fathers have been with us for ever. It was almost considered normal in certain settings, but women seem to have gained equality in this field recently.

Almost every day I open the paper to read of yet another court case concerning a mother on trial for killing her kids, or starving them or keeping them locked in a box full of their own shit and feed on dog food etc. What really polishes me off is the extraordinary light sentences handed to these women. Often they are allowed to keep what's left of their remaining children (shudder!) and required to attend 'counseling' sessions.

Yet organisations which oppose child abuse seem remarkably quiet about all of this. On the other hand, they go berserk at an advertisement featuring a 23 year old model wearing a short plaid skirt - claiming it promotes child abuse.

Nah. its always been around Deano. I just think it seems more because of the accessibilty of information these days.

Scum bag kiddy fiddling mums have been around a long time...Myra Hindley, Norman Bates mum echo this as being nothing new to our times at least

These things were certainly hushed up years ago I'll agree. The thing that worries me is that some of these women seem more concerned with having to go to court over such 'a trivial thing'. It's like I've landed on the wrong planet sometimes.
