Re: Whats Happened To Gordon Brown
He has been in Parliament since standing down, and has been doing a lot of constituency work too.
He has chosen to remain largely silent on the emergency budget, judging this to be a statesman-like approach to take. Ally Darling, effectively still the Labour lead on Treasury matters, is the "go-to" for such comment from the opposition.
Some will see Brown's silence as "bottling" (I presume you are one of them, given your post), others will see it as the right thing to do (including both those who liked and disliked his views/decisions).
The above is neither an endorsement or critique of Brown's position from me.

Its strange that prior to the election he had plenty to say and was very forcefull in stating that his policies were the correct ones, but now the coalition have had time to study the books Brown remains silent.

Re: Whats Happened To Gordon Brown
He was seeking your vote as PM before the election. It's not his job anymore, and he would be pissing over Alistair Darling, Labour and some would even argue protocol if he was banging on about such matters. Ex senior figures tend to follow a similar approach.
If he talks, people could tell him "pipe down, the voters rejected you", if he doesn't talk he's equally guilty of "hiding" or whatever. Damned if he does....

Well at least to his credit he hasn't gone off working for a bank or slapping round the Square Mile offering his consultancy services unlike some politicians we know of.
And the other think for which he is worthy of great praise, he ain't George Osborne.

If he was still in the news every night you'd 'do a Max' and complain how he's living off his ex-PM status.

Thats because nobody wants him after the mess he has left this country in, he would be a liability to any business.
